Target audience
Fire protection officers, managers of professional fire brigades, volunteer fire brigades, civil protection, and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW)

• Putting on the protection suit including functional underwear

• Fire attack under CSA (VS 20 SILVERFLASH®) on a simulated gas leak
• Moving in tight & dark spaces
• Removing the protective suit and decontamination tips

On-Top Specialist Seminar: Background and Decision Support for Choosing the Right Protective Clothing
Learning objective: Following the RTT training sessions at the respective training location
Will an informative presentation be held that combines the training aspects with important knowledge on the correct procurement of PPE, CSA and FWEK for fire brigades:

• CSA-CBRN Materials and Solutions for New Threat Scenarios
• CSA/FWEK – Procurement for Fire Brigades according to DGUV 205-2014
• FWEK Kermel Meta-Aramid Fibre
• FWEK THL and wildfire protective clothing with/without membrane
• FWEK Functional Clothing Cotton / Flame Retardant
• Countrywide PSA Service for CSA and FWEK

This course component can also be attended by non-training participants (upon registration).

Safety instructions
We, as the event organiser, will provide the necessary chemical protection suits and/or firefighting turnout gear free of charge on site.
The respective facility operator (organisers and local fire brigade instructors) are solely responsible for the safety concept, safety briefings, training pre-briefing, donning of protective clothing, training, training instructions, decontamination, and the correct removal of protective clothing. Likewise, appropriate respiratory protective equipment and masks will be provided by the facility operator.
